My View on Saturday

What a blessing to have a long weekend! I love my kids (most days!) but at this point in the year desperately needed a break to do a bit of sleeping.

Kristen and I were able to spend parts of Saturday and Monday relaxing at the beach. A little bit of swimming, mostly reading and enjoying the breeze. And, I have to admit, a bit of sleeping. :-)

The Lord knows just what we need, when we need it, and even if we don't have the faith to ask for it. His promises of rest, both spiritual and physical, are kept in a wonderful way.

This was my view on Saturday, when I wasn't asleep. :-) With a bit of rest the views of the rest of the rest of this week and the final weeks of 3rd quarter look a bit brighter.
