Just a couple things (I am hoping to get more and some pics up today or tomorrow).
Parent Orientation went very well last night. It was great to finally get to meet my kids and their folks. There are 23 in my class now (added 1 less than three hours before orientation. AH!).
My box with bedroom stuff- sheets, bedspread, pillow etc- came on Thursday :-)
Same box was the one with my posters and calendar for my classroom. I had just been saying to the Lord on Wednesday, "But we can't start school yet, my calendar I bought especially for school isn't here yet!" Funny how surprising it is when you pray specifically and He answers, specifically!
Been a crazy couple days (been so tired I haven't even heard Wilbert and Marlene the last two mornings!). Roomie has graciously lent Kristen and I her car a couple night so we could stay late at school and work on things. Its rather creepy there late at night! But God has helped us get things done as needed.
A group of teachers went to Cold Stone after orientation last night, its a tradition I hear, and I got a yummy creation of strawberry green tea icecream with gummy bears in it. They do have some of the most interesting icecream flavors here! Not that they don't have "normal" ones, but there are several intersting ones mixed in it seems. And I never can pass up a challenge! :-)
