Found "yucky carrots" in the grocery store- tiny peppers that burn like anything, even if you just get the oil on your skin. Learned that the hard way when I was little! My brother delights in reminding me that I ruined a wonderful spaghetti dinner because I was screaming from the bathtub full of cold water. I try not to remind him that he is the one who actually ate them during his childhood! ;-)
Kristen and I have a new favorite cartoon :-) We often watch a cartoon during supper which provides a short little brain break between long afternoons prep and long evenings of more prep!
Introduced Kristen to James' and my favorite "soup."
She was skeptical at first, but had to admit in the end that I was right-

On a seperate note, this was our window display during the science unit of fossils and dinosaurs.
I wanted to make the big ones in the middle purple, but Kristen thought that would make people think of a certain loving, swing riding dino we all love to hate. So I settled for blue and yellow. After they were done I realized they look like MBBC fans- gotta represent on the fare side of the world!
