Shopping for Simpletons

So last Saturday one of Jessica's roommates let us borrow her car to do our grocery shopping. Several weeks ago she took us shopping at a place called Cost U Less, sort of the Guam version of a Sam's Club. Since we like cheaper things (if you divide the case of corn out it is cheaper per can!) and don't get a chance to get out for groceries very often it is a handy place to shop.

The one trouble...... We didn't exactly know how to get there!

And we didn't realize that until we were on the way.

Without a phone to call anyone!

Unexpected road trip! :-)

We wandered for a while, all of us "remembering" various landmarks and turns.

Which ended up being faulty recollections!

Finally stopped for supper at Wendy's. Mmm..... what were those strange yellow sticks of potato? They were strangely tasty, like something.... a memory from the distant past.... ;-p

And then we were off to try one last time.

With a recollection- finally!- of the fact that it was near GPO, a shopping center/mall that we had been to... once... in the dark.... but it was a point of reference!

The gas station we finally stopped at for directions.

Took a while to convince the driver *ahem* that we needed to stop and ask.

After getting directions and then finding out they weren't quite on....

We finally made it!

It was quite an adventure!

But we got to spend time together, have fun, and (thankfully!) get a couple weeks of groceries!
