Highlights of the Week

Actually, it is really highlights from the past two weeks!

But enough from me, pictures are better anyway!

We had a paper airplane contest after learning about the development of the airplane and the Wright brothers :-)

My first student present was a charming portrait of myself,

apparently pretending to be Popeye the Sailorman!

Finally got a closer picture of Marlene... or maybe Wilbert. Its really hard to say which!

Bought a 3 pound mango!

It was only slightly smaller than Kristen's head!

Hurrah for real mangos :-D

Labor Day picnic in the livingroom!

Had a baby stay overnight!

Abby was taking care of him so his foster parents could have a bit of a break!

Kristen bought a pool floaty which took her forever to blow up!

We went swimming on Labor Day evening~
yay for having our own pool!

Even if we don't get to it often :-)

Wednesday is happy-we-made-it-through-half-of-the-week coffee treat day!

My cupcake I painted with Shawna and Miss Fred sits by my computer

and reminds me of them every day!




My pillow from Mom and Dad A got here,

last box to arrive of course,

and looks great on my bed!
