Yes, at long last I am going to post pictures of my school!
Sorry for the delay. You might say things have been a tiny bit busy around here...
But finally,
Hafa Adai!
Welcome to Harvest Christian Academy!

There are several buildings: the Early Learning Center, the main building with two wings that house elementary and middle school levels, and one with high school classrooms and gym facilities. Another high school building has the cafeteria on the main floor. The cafeteria is shared by the academy and Harvest Baptist Bible Institute. It can get a bit crazy at lunch time!

The building just barely in the right side of this picture is the cafeteria/high school building. Across the covered walkway (which we are currently very thankful for during rainy season in the tropics!) is the elementary and middle school building. It is three floors; all the rooms open onto a veranda we call the hallway. When rain comes from that side switches are interesting :-)

After a small hike up several flights of stairs, you finally reach third floor. The Lord must know I need many trips upto third floor to keep me humble this year, apartment and classroom both!
Out of breath yet?

And welcome to 308, home of MissWilliams' 5A!!!

When I first walked in the room was a bit bare.
And smelled a litte funky from the one wall that gets quite damp when it rains (every day).
Definitely needed some personality~
But it was mine!
My own super-awesome-gonna-be-amazing classroom!!!

Complete with a desk for a real life teacher.
Though I felt a bit like a pretender.
A little girl playing at being a grown up teacher complete with fake glasses and a giant ruler!
It will take some work to make the room mine, but things will improve in time.
And with the Lord's help I will too!!!
Yay! fun to see your classroom! Can't wait to see 'after' pics!
